A former photo editor and photo studio manager, I began my career in hair in 2006 by winning a full scholarship to the Aveda Institute in NYC through their Natural Talent competition. Upon graduation I apprenticed at Sassoon’s downtown NYC salon. From there I spent a year apprenticing directly under Cristiano Cora with whom I thankfully credit for the majority of what I know about cutting hair.

Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work on video, print, and web jobs creating hair and makeup looks. I continue to work in photography as much of my inspiration continues to come from this medium. I’m constantly looking to improve my skills through education and am always in search of inspirations that feed the love that I have for the art of creating beauty.
